SWITCH consortium partner WECF (Women Engage for a Common Future) has successfully delivered a comprehensive training programme on renewable energy technologies and economics in the SWITCH pilot community in Morocco. The training, which took place on October 18, brought together a diverse group of 44 participants of different ages and backgrounds. Following the intensive training, the participants showed a strong interest in taking concrete action: In particular, they expressed their collective desire to establish an energy cooperative in their community. This marks a significant step towards local ownership and the practical application of renewable energy technologies for economic and environmental benefit.
