In December 2024, the University of Ain Temouchent organised a targeted one-day training session for political decision-makers on the crucial topic of “Artificial Intelligence for Electricity Consumption Forecasting”. The event successfully presented the objectives and added value of the SWITCH project compared to current energy management practices. More than 30 high-ranking representatives from various sectors such as energy, mining, technology, energy management and business attended the training. A key focus of the session was the practical application of AI-based predictive models to optimise individual electricity consumption.
